Recently we had the pleasure of designing a poster for an event that we'd naturally be dying to go to. The event 'Urban Data: From Fetish Object to Social Object' is a one day symposium arranged by Adam Greenfield at London School of Economics' fantastic Cities department. For the last six months Fieldwork Facility have been working on a regeneration project in Walthamstow for Waltham Forest Council. The project is to work with nine individual businesses along E17's Hoe Street; rethinking each businesses communications through their shopfronts as well as contributing to Hoe Streets sense of place.

The businesses we are working for are very varied and each come with their own challenges.

We're working with: Moonlight Food & Wine  (24 hour supermarket), Be Smart Dry Cleaners, Omar Hair Salon, Be Smart Dry Cleaners, AC Motors (general auto repairs), Eco Vivo (electrical and heating engineers), Victoria 2 (school uniform shop), CHAPS (Central Heating And Plumbing Supplies) and Body Art Tattooing, an eclectic mix!

Our new shopfronts will be rolling out across February and March. Keep an eye out for updates.
